With a maximum 500V, 800mA and 300W voltage, current, and power output, the PowerPro 500-M2 touch screen power supply is an excellent general-purpose unit that fits the broadest range of electrophoresis applications and featuring advanced functionality, including a 4.3″ color touchscreen. It can run as many as four units under constant or programmable settings with a capacity to store up to 100 programmes with up to 30 steps each, making the PowerPro 500-M2 ideal for techniques that benefit from subtle and gradual stepwise changes in electrical parameters as the run progresses, such as DGGE and large-format vertical PAGE using Cleaver Scientific VS20-DGGE and WAVE systems.
The PowerPro 500-M2 features built-in pre-set protocols for each of Cleaver Scientific’s electrophoresis systems and allows users to create and save protocols for their own systems. A touch screen displays current running parameters and enables easy navigation of pre-set and saved protocols. The PowerPro 500-M2 can be operated at constant voltage, constant current, or constant power. A convenient pause/resume function allows any run to be temporarily halted for gel inspection and restarted from the same position.
The PowerPro 500 touch screen power supply is the ideal choice for:
