Observe DNA samples moving in real-time through the bluVIEWlid viewing pane. When the DNA bands of interest are ready for extraction, turnoff the power supply, remove the lid, and collect the DNA using a pipette.
No expensive commercial gels
works with standard EtBr, SYBR Green and SYBR Safe gels.
A self-contained system
The compact, portable base unit houses a blue LED gel illuminator, allowing electrophoresis, gel visualisation and extraction to be performed at the bench, without the inconvenience of having to transport gels to a darkroom elsewhere within the laboratory.
