NOVASBIO screw cap microtubes serve a wide range of laboratory needs including collection, processing, centrifugation, long-term storage and packaging/shipping of restriction enzymes and other reagents. Colour-coded caps provide a syringe port which is easily pierced for radioisotope labelling and fraction collecting. The threaded ‘O’ ring design ensures a uniform closure allowing centrifugation up to 20,000 RCF.
Ribs are designed to facilitate single-handed opening and closing, even with gloves on. The closure on NOVASBIO Screw Cap Tubes feature an ‘O’ ring that is formulated and manufactured from a specially selected material that is resistant to many commonlyused laboratory chemicals. The Orientation Tab allows the microtube to be aligned with the centrifuge rotor for multiple applications, including desalting. This ensures that the microtube can be respun without disturbing the partially pelletised sediment.
NOVASBIO screw cap microtubes are available separately as Tubes and Caps, Individually Packed. They are also available packed together (SCT-). As non- sterile, both Tubes and Caps are Un-Assembled, supplied together but packed separately. For the sterile option, Tubes and Caps are Assembled and packed in convenient bags of 100.
